Dreamweaver Level 1: Online Projects --- Building a Classroom Web Site

Web Graphics
When you first start building a Web site the need for graphic editing and creation skills are often not apparent, but before long a need quickly develops. This section provides tutorials for the first three skills you need as you work on a Web site: Basic Photo Preparation, Creating a Navigation bar or Set of Buttons, and Making a Title Banner. Below you will find both written and video/audio tutorials for these three skills. Visit the Fireworks section for many other Tutorials.

Macromedia's Fireworks MX is the tool that will be used. This software was developed for the express purpose of creating and editing digital graphics for use on the web. It also is the companion piece to Dreamweaver. For these reasons it is an excellent choice.
