Conductor or Not?
Try the following experiment to search for conductors and nonconductors. You will need:
- A small flashlight bulb
- 2 pieces of copper wire
- A “D” battery
- Various items to test
Use the form below to make your predictions. After you predict for each item, use your light bulb, wires and battery to make a complete circuit. Then, place each item below, one at a time, in the circuit. See if the item makes a complete circuit or an incomplete circuit. Then choose the correct answer. How did you do?
