Señor Hortin’s expectations:
Students will be in their desks with preclass assignment started when bell rings.
Students will respect others person, property and time.
Students will participate in order to learn Spanish.

Student’s expectations:
Student will receive a listing of the available assignments for the unit.
Student will then choose how many of the assignments to complete.
Student will complete and turn in unit by due date.
Each assignment will be graded according to the following

1 4 1 unexcused or suspension Participates infrequently, shows little self-discipline, effort, positive attitude, or accountability for absences and work missed; needs frequent reminders to follow class rules.
0 5+ 2 or more unexcused or suspension Shows no desire to participate and very little self-discipline, effort, or accountability for absences; frequent reminders to follow class rules have little effect (or incidence of cheating or plagiarism)
