Students will participate in order to learn Spanish. Student’s expectations: Student will receive a listing of the available assignments for the unit. Student will then choose how many of the assignments to complete. Student will complete and turn in unit by due date. Each assignment will be graded according to the following rubric   Grade Description A Completed all parts of the activity B Completed most of the activity. C Completed parts of the activity. D Completed few parts of activity. M Did not complete assignment CPA TARDIES ABSENCES BEHAVIOR 4 0-1 under 8 excused Participates eagerly; shows self-discipline, effort and positive attitude; works cooperatively; is accountable for absences and make up of work missed; follows class rules. 3 2 under 8 excused Demonstrates similar attitude and behavior as above, but not as consistently; is accountable for absences and make up of work missed - seldom needs reminder to follow class rules. 2 3 8 or more excused Shows average participation, self-discipline, effort, attitude, and accountability for absences and make up of missed work; needs reminders to follow class rules 1 4 1 unexcused or suspension Participates infrequently, shows little self-discipline, effort, positive attitude, or accountability for absences and work missed; needs frequent reminders to follow class rules. 0 5+ 2 or more unexcused or suspension Shows no desire to participate and very little self-discipline, effort, or accountability for absences; frequent reminders to follow class rules have little effect (or incidence of cheating or plagiarism)
