Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Kim Scalzo is Director of Outreach Programs at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has been at Rensselaer for 16 years and is responsible for the Summer, Part-Time Evening, Navy, and Distance Learning Programs. Her areas of responsibility include campus-wide planning, program and curriculum development, new business development, promotion, recruitment, and customized services for students, faculty, and corporate customers. Kim works closely with corporate and government partners such as General Motors Corporation, General Electric, Ford Motor Company, IBM, the Logistics Management Institute, United Technologies Corporation, and Lockheed Martin. She also serves as a reviewer for the New York State Education Department Office of Higher Education for Institutional Capability Reviews for Distance Learning.
