Curriculum Specialist, Capella University
Dr. Merlin has been working as a Curriculum Specialist at Capella University since December, 2005. Her career in both the fields of education and public health ranges from teaching pre-school through high school, teacher training and adult education, nursing training; developing curriculum and setting up programs in schools, hospitals and communities. She has worked in Europe, the Middle East and the U.S. for over thirty years. Dr. Merlin received her Ed.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Minnesota, M.P.H. from the American University of Beirut, Early Childhood Montessori Teaching Certificate from Al Khobar's Women's Association Teacher Training College (King Faisal University) in Saudi Arabia, and her B.A. in Political Science from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California.
