Ebersole, John
President, Excelsior College
John Ebersole is president of Excelsior College, an independent, not-for-profit institution originally founded by the Regents of the State of New York. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as Associate Provost at Boston University. He has also held posts at Colorado State and the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of the Board of the New York Council of Independent Colleges & Universities and is a past president of the University Continuing Education Association. Ebersole holds graduate degrees in both business and public administration and an EdS from George Washington University. As a Senior Fellow at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, he conducted research on innovation in higher education.
