Consumer Information for Adult Students – Transparency by Design

This session includes information and audience discussion about Transparency by Design, a consumer information initiative specifically designed for higher education institutions serving adults online. This initiative emphasizes public disclosure of program-level learning outcomes and other relevant institutional information on a common website through a partnership with WCET. The initial reports are being published in early 2009 by a group of pilot institutions. Substantial foundation support has been received to add more institutions and to market the website to prospective adult students. Participants will learn about upcoming website changes, improvements, participation rates and how to join this initiative.
