Pat Tinsley McGill’s 30 year career in distance learning has given her a unique perspective on the industry’s past and future. She has earned international recognition as an innovator in the use of technology to increase access to education resources. Pat was the founder of the first interactive private satellite network in the nation to serve public schools.  Her entrepreneurial ventures have been featured in The Wall Street Journal and USA Today, on CNN and the CBS Evening News. She is currently Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Director of the Master of Science in Management and Information Technology program at CSU Monterey Bay, where she teaches hybrid courses.  She has presented at more than 50 conferences in the U.S., Europe, China, and Africa, and is a published researcher and author.
