Cable Green is E-Learning and Distance Education Director for the Washington State Board of Community and Technical Colleges. He was previously Director of Technology for the Ohio Learning Network. Dr. Green has a targeted interest in how educational technologies and connectivist pedagogies can be combined to help learners create, manage, and contribute their work through open knowledge initiatives. A nationally recognized speaker on technology and education issues, he holds a MS in Professional Communications from Westminster College, and a MA in Communication and a PhD in Educational Technology from Ohio State University.
