Willis, Barry

Barry Willis, Associate Dean for Outreach for the University of Idaho's College of Engineering, also serves as the UI's Associate Vice President for Educational Outreach. Previously he served as University of Alaska Statewide Director of Distance Education and Associate Vice Chancellor for Distance Education. He has taught for Boston University, the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, Utah State University, and the University of Idaho. Dr. Willis has authors two texts, "Distance Education: Strategies and Tools" and "Distance Education: A Practical Guide," serves as Contributing Editor of the Journal of Educational Technology, and is on the Editorial Board of The American Journal of Distance Education.
