Livne, Oren

Oren Livne is the senior software architect in Continuing Education at the University of Utah. Oren holds a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Weizmann Institute. He worked in algorithm development at the Israeli aircraft industries, developed computerized math units (Israel Ministry of Education), held fellowships at Stanford and at the School of Computing, University of Utah. Oren has published 18 scholarly journal papers in applied mathematics, natural languages. He is the RUReady software architect and inventor of its Mathematical Parsing System with his colleagues.
